On the 18th (witch was yesterday) we went to the Brunner mine site. we learnt about the coal, coke and bricks. we also went to the cemetery where 35 people berried in the cemetery.
my favourite activity was when we acted out a Sean in the book. how was coal made? Coal is found in swampy places because of low oxygen then it gets screened into different sizes then put into buckets.
I really loved the trip to Brunner mine and I would love to go back to learn more

Your group did a great job of acting out the scene from the book. My favourite activity was when you dressed up and posed for photos. Next time it would be good to give some background on why we were visiting this special place as people from outside of our area may not know the history of the Brunner Mine Site. What was the purpose of our visit?
