4 athletics I came 1st 2nd and 3rd in everything for my age. I really liked the 100 meters sprint and the high jump. It was really fun I liked it. I have only done this because it has been a messy week.

Literacy Reflection Writing T2 Wk8

This week in writing we were writing descriptions of a family member. Here is my writing on my mum. My goal was to use interesting vocabulary. What do you think?

My mum has really frizzy and curly hair but when I come home from school it sometimes is straight she also has blue shining eyes that are very beautiful like an angel. My mum is cheerful and has such a happy smile when I get back from school.

One of the best memorable moment with my mum was probably when we went fishing at the whorf and my mum caught a very very big kahawai. She fought with it for about half an hour.  Shewas reeling it in and it was getting really close when It jumped back in the water witch sucks. Mum laughed and laughed but dad was disappointed. It was a memorable family moment.

My mum is funny because she makes funny jokes. One of the jokes is:

Why can’t vampires bite Taylor Swift….. because she has bad blood!

ha ha ha!

She is also Creative because she can make really cool birthday cards. My favorite card was a drawing of me and it was really detailed.  My mum is really lovable and she is very beautiful to me because she is my mum.

I love my mum.

Wk8 T2 Numeracy Reflection

This week we did problem solving in maths.  We had to use the place value strategy to solve addition and subtraction questions.  Here is my slide. We had to really think for some of these questions but we are getting better and better.

Welcome Back Reflection

Welcome back 

I'm really looking forward to this term because we have a new teacher called Miss Reissmann and we still have Mrs Prendergast.

This is my literacy work for this week.

We were learning about opposites (antonyms), adjectives, nouns and verbs about them. We made our words into a diamante poem about ANZAC day. I hope you like it, if you do comment what you like about it.    

  

Electronics T1 wk4

Electronics

Today Mamaku 1 learnt about electronics. Our group was a group of 4. We had Logan, Stanley, Sebastian and Blake. The guys name is Andrew. We had to find the hottest place and the coldest place in the school. Our group and Mathew's  group found the coldest place. IT WAS 6 DEGREES! We also did a test about how strong you are. This is my D.L.O that I did. I did it on a google drawing. We had to do this because we read the story as a class and the teacher wanted to do this. I am really proud of this activity because is looks cool and the title looks cool. I maybe have to work on more descriptive words

This is my butterfly life cycle I am proud of it because it tells you how a caterpillar into a butterfly. I used google docs to do all of this.  We were learning to write an explanation about the butterfly life cycle.  I think I need to work on using more descriptive words.
