My Visual Mihi

This is my visual Mihi.  A visual mihi is a presentation that introduces yourself in Maori.
I really hope you like it and I would love to do it again.  Next time would use more colour to make it more eye catching.

Brunner Mine Trip

On the 18th (witch was yesterday) we went to the Brunner mine site. we learnt about the coal, coke and bricks. we also went to the cemetery where 35 people berried in the cemetery.

my favourite activity was when we acted out a Sean in the book. how was coal made? Coal is found in swampy places because of low oxygen then it gets screened into different sizes then put into buckets.

I really loved the trip to Brunner mine and I would love to go back to learn more

Auckland's E scooter

In my ipinon I do not like the e-scooter because the lime scooter brakes are failing and people are falling over the handle bars.

Lime scooters was founded in January 2017 and raised US$12 million in venture funding led by Andreessen Horowitz in March 2017.

Lime's scooters have repeatedly been recalled due to mechanical failures.

In November 2018, Lime issued a global recall on reports that the scooters could break in half. The recall was issued following internal comments by employees that its scooters were unsafe for public use

What's Been in the News this Week..

This week in the news the New Zealand police have got new body armour.

They got new body armour because it is lighter and more reliable.

They changed the body armour on the 31 of Jan 2019.

For them to change the armour it cost 20.7 million dollars.

Mike Bush made the decision to change the body armour.

I think it was a good idea because I think the New Zealand police are going to like the new armour.
