40 BC Week 10 Term 1

Title: Shipwrecked.

This story is about a person that is on his boat and there was a hole in the boat so he jumped out and swam to safety. Read the book to find out more about the story. 

I give this book a rating of 3/5 because I like it but not enough to be a 5/5 because I would a like a Tom Gates book or a Diary of a Wimpy Kid book better.

This week I learnt about spine poetry.

Me and my friend Sebastian worked on it together.

Spine poetry is when you get books and you look at the spine of the book and then you make a poem out of the words.

Numeracy Reflection Term 1 week 7.

This week we have been learning to say the face, place and total value of each digit in 4 digit numbers.

I did this last year but the numbers changed so I did it fast.  Now I need to learn to do this with numbers up to a million.

This week for literacy I did a Top 3 favorite video games
I did Minecraft, Overwatch and Clubpenguin.

I also did a typing speed test.

Maths 

This week in maths I have been learning about p.v in maths. P.v means place value and we have been making up our numbers we had in our heads. Our maths group had fun. 
I also helped people with their problems. 

Electronics T1 wk4

Electronics

Today Mamaku 1 learnt about electronics. Our group was a group of 4. We had Logan, Stanley, Sebastian and Blake. The guys name is Andrew. We had to find the hottest place and the coldest place in the school. Our group and Mathew's  group found the coldest place. IT WAS 6 DEGREES! We also did a test about how strong you are.
