Shanty Town Week 7 Term 4

Yesterday M1 went to shanty town. It was fun because we where there the hole day. first we went to the church and the shanty town girl had a talk to us then we went to the changing rooms and changed to olden day cloths. After that we played around in shanty town then we meat up at the couch then we got "robed" after that we had to find out who the robber was. then we had a roll play and we had to find out is a person is Gillette or innocent then that was the day.

T2 Reading wk7 reflections

Reading

WALT: Infer the meaning in a sentence.

This week we did reading. In reading we had to find out the key words and the answer from the sentence. I really liked it because we had to work it out and I like working out stuff.  Next time I am going to try and infer from a paragraph.

This week I learnt about spine poetry.

Me and my friend Sebastian worked on it together.

Spine poetry is when you get books and you look at the spine of the book and then you make a poem out of the words.

Numeracy Reflection Term 1 week 7.

This week we have been learning to say the face, place and total value of each digit in 4 digit numbers.

I did this last year but the numbers changed so I did it fast.  Now I need to learn to do this with numbers up to a million.

I have learnt to do Similes and Metaphors in sentences.  I am getting better at identifying which is which.

This is my writing of  'I pushed open the old creaky door.  I need to work hard to complete these tasks to a high standard.

This is my maths we learnt face value, place value, and  total  value.  I am getting better at mastering this.
